Frequently Asked Questions
Is my toilet compatible with Bidi?
Yes. Bidi fits 90% of standard toilets thanks to its adaptable mounting brackets. If you have any doubts about your specific model, please check the compatibility section on our website or contact us and we'll help you confirm.
Does it need electricity or a battery?
No. Bidi works solely with water pressure. It requires no electricity, batteries, or complicated installation.
Is the water cold?
The water Bidi uses is the same as tap water. In winter it may feel cooler, but most users adapt quickly and perceive it as a feeling of cleanliness.
What should I use to dry myself after using it?
After using Bidi, you can dry yourself with a little tissue. The difference is that you'll need much less than before, which reduces waste, prevents irritation, and also helps you save money on toilet paper.
We also recommend using a small towel intended solely for this purpose, if you're looking for an even more sustainable option.
How much water does it use?
Consumption is minimal: just a few centiliters per use. This is far less than the environmental impact of producing and using toilet paper or wipes.
Why is it more hygienic than toilet paper or wipes?
Toilet paper and wipes only remove dirt without deep cleaning, and in many cases can leave residue or cause skin irritation. Water, on the other hand, directly removes waste, providing more effective, gentle, and body-friendly hygiene.
In addition, Bidi incorporates a dual water jet system (front and rear) to adapt to every need and a self-cleaning system that rinses the diffusers before and after each use, keeping the device always hygienic.
The result is a more thorough and safer clean, with less risk of irritation and no added waste for the environment.
What if I don't like it or it doesn't suit me?
No problem. You can try it for 90 days and, if it doesn't suit you or your bathroom, we'll give you your money back.
Can I use it during menstruation, pregnancy, or postpartum?
Yes. During menstruation, pregnancy, or postpartum, many women find Bidi a more comfortable and skin-friendly solution. The water cleanses gently and effectively, avoiding the friction of toilet paper in sensitive areas.
Furthermore, since it doesn't wipe from back to front like toilet paper, it reduces the risk of spreading bacteria that can cause urinary tract infections or yeast infections. Bidi cleans with independent water jets for each intimate area, providing greater safety and peace of mind every day.
In the postpartum period, especially after a vaginal delivery, it's useful for maintaining gentle hygiene without irritation. And during menstruation, many women highlight the feeling of freshness and added comfort.
Bidi uses no chemicals and requires no electricity, making it safe and convenient at all stages. Even so, if you have specific medical concerns, it's advisable to consult your trusted healthcare professional.
